Although this is not a hint that can increase your photography skills, it can be handy for photographers who use relatively older lenses. Particularly, if you use older or second-hand glass, cleaning it is really important as opposed to the latest lens models. Substances like fungus can cause really annoying issues that can reduce the effectiveness of the lens.

In most of the cases, fungus don’t become a serious issue as long as the density is low. In other words, the more the fungus, the severe the problem is.

In an event of a presence of fungus, you don’t always have to shop around for a special lens cleaning solution. Instead, you can use white vinegar as a home remedy to clean your lenses. In fact, white vinegar is considered to be a good cleanser that necessarily comes with a gentle cleaning ability. White vinegar can effectively address a mild fungus infestation. However, if the case is severe than a mild fungus attack, you will have to get the assistance of a professional to get it cleaned.
