How to capture beautiful fireworks on your phone

Posted by Bryan Dunn on

Fireworks are awesome! However, when it comes to capturing fireworks using your smartphone, not everybody can succeed. If you intend to capture a beautiful firework image using the smartphone, here’s how to do it.

You should configure the camera to function on its manual focus settings. When the manual setting is turned on, the camera will not search for the darkness; it will capture the image as it is. Under the manual settings, you can fine tune the shutter speed and ISO settings; just use a lower ISO value with a long shutter speed.

Have your phone stabilized perfectly. Don’t bother if you don’t have a tripod; you may use the “elbow trick” we mentioned in this series already.
You should utilize the burst ability of the phone in order to capture the best possible image.

You should shoot from a place where no burdens exist.

Don’t use your flash. In fact, your mobile phone’s flash becomes useless when you shoot something far away.

And, that’s it!
