A photographer's purpose and guide to using a large translucent reflector

Posted by Bryan Dunn on

In certain cases, you will have to make your existing moonlight appear to be much larger. This happens often particularly when you are trying to photograph someone in a relatively dark area. Whenever there is a little ambient light and you still want the shot to be a perfect one, you have to use a Five in one reflector.

It is true that the main purpose of a reflector is to reflect the existing light. However, you can use such reflector as a normal bounce surface for the flash you use. If you don’t have a ceiling or similar surface to bounce the hot shoe flash, you can create such surface with a reflector.
